Blue Birds 蓝鸟

We love the scandinavians with their open skies, clean air, healthy lifestyle. In the new season we keep on being inspired by their basic but romantic looks. Blue birds is a spring topic with soft but intense colours. The colours of bird’s eggshells play an important role with their muted blue grey hues. Shapes are basic but romantic. We see plenty of wood being used: from stained wood to recycle wood, a material which is still popular with designers around. This is also a perfect topic for ceramics; this material resembles bird’s eggs of course. We therefore see it plenty fold in this topic used in tableware but also vases and little figurines. Touches of electro plated gold make this topic more intriguing. Gold is a metallic colour on the rise, even in summer we see the metallics becoming more popular.
